Thanks for visiting the home of Dalraefin Bengals

Our interest in the Bengal breed started when we got our first one as a pet a rescued brown spotted male in 2001.

Since moving to Dalrymple in East Ayrshire,Scotland in early 2005 to finally run our own boarding kennels and cattery. After spending nearly 10 years in the business and now having the facilities and space to have more Bengals we deceided that we would like to breed our own, having had a lot of friends admire and show interest in our first Bengal. In January 2010 we were granted the Dalraefin Prefix from the GCCF.

We started with buying in a stud (Traks Apollo), a proven Queen (Adfursh Khantengri Inca) and two young queens whose sire was Leopardspots Pachino. Later we added Cainicats Fiddich Logan as our second stud boy with three additional queens, Admonsh Poppy Blaze, Glitterglam Xena and Royalancer Macam Tutul all of who have been neutered and since been placed in good homes.

We have since added a snow marble stud Junglefire Marius now a proven stud and a snow spotted queen Staynor Pearls a Singer,many thanks to Stan and Nora James of Staynor Bengals for letting us have such a beautiful Bengal.

All our breeding queens when not in the house are kept in a cattery overlooking our garden with a sleeping area and cat flap leading to a covered outside play area containing a large activity tree, the studs are kept in their own large covered accomadation away from the cattery

All our kittens are born in the house with us close by and spend their next 13 weeks getting properly socailised with a lots handling, loud sounds and meeting our pet dogs before going to their new homes.

Each future owner is given the kittens GCCF registration, care sheet, neutering contract and offered a free kitten pack which contains litter,tray,carrier,feed bowls and Hills dry kitten food.

Since the beginning of this year 2008 we have applied to join the Ocicat and Bengal cat club for membership with the intention of showing in the near future.
